Try Me Free - Bioluxe conditioner at CVS

I don't really need more hair conditioner but I'm working on restocking my supply after giving most of it away for Christmas present. So this is a great deal for me today. (Plus I had a gift card and a $5 coupon and extra bucks left over, so the 2 bottles didn't end up costing me anything!) Buy Bioluxe conditioner for 9.99 at CVS It is on sale for buy one get one free. Then submit for a full rebate on the 9.99! You can only do one rebate per household, so you can send the second try me free rebate to another address (maybe a mom or other family member?) You must have the little tag found on the conditioner to submit the rebate. When I left CVS today, there were about 4 more tags on the bottles.

Love CVS? Join the Advisory Panel!

Are you a CVS fan? Join the CVS Advisory Panel for a chance to get surveys that reward you with Extra Bucks! I joined months ago but tonight I got my very first email asking me to complete a survey and get $15 extra bucks! Yes! You read that right. I just did a 15 minute survey for CVS and then printed out a $15.00 Extra Bucks Coupon!!!!! I can stretch that $15 Extra Bucks a long long way! Not a member yet? Click here to join today. I have no idea how often they sent out survey invitations BUT I am thrilled that I signed up! - even if it does take a while to get my first survey reward.

Time to thank the CVS cashiers

I'm a huge believer in saying thanks to those who do something nice for me..... so here is my thanks to the Danville CVS cashiers. Everytime I check out at CVS, the cashiers have smiles. They seem to think it's cool that I am able to save money by using coupons. When you have a good cashier, tell them thanks! So, thanks - Danville CVS!

CVS - week of Nov 1

If you are wanting to start playing the CVS game, this is not the best week to start. Hopefully next week will be a better week! I ran over and picked up a couple things but I'm not real impressed with this weeks deals.

CVS accepts competitor prescription coupons!

I talked to the CVS Manager at the Danville KY location and they accept competitor prescription coupons! That means today I used a RiteAid prescription transfer coupon for $25 gift card! No problem. I talked to a friend yesterday who says that she does this regularly and has made quite a bit of money in gift cards at CVS! Important : if you have multiple prescriptions or special circumstances, pick a pharmacy and stay there. But.... if you are filling a prescription for something simple like I am -this is a great way to get some extra money! So, if you are new to this, here's what you do..... Print the prescription coupon or cut it from the paper when you find it. If it is for a NEW prescription, you can use it anytime (like when your child needs a simple cough med etc) If it is for a transferred prescription, take it to the new pharmacy and tell them where your present prescription is (mine was at Rite Aid from last month). Give them your health insurance information and per...

CVS kindness and sharing coupons

CVS Kindness Today Thanks to a fellow CVS shopper for sharing out of her shopping cart today. She got there before I did and shared a couple of the 'free after purchase' school supplies since they were gone off the shelf. I then saw her give another one of her 'free' items to another shopper before she checked out. She uses 2 CVS cards so she could have gotten twice as many of the items for herself but decided to share them instead. That was super kind! Thanks Heather! About using 2 CVS cards..... for me that's too complicated. But some people really score some great deals using a personal account and another for their spouse. If you can keep up with 2 accounts - great! But for me, I'm going to stick with just one for now. My life is full enough without juggling that too :-) While I checked out my stuff, another shopper saw me using a coupon and asked me where I found it. As it happens, I had an extra one of the coupons in my notebook and gave it to ...

Help for beginning CVS shoppers!

This is a great week to try out the CVS shopping experience. I love CVS but it was hard getting started. For those of you who are new to the whole CVS game, here's the most important tip... Do multiple transactions . For example, this week, buy 1 pair of scissors for 2.99 and when you check out you will get a receipt attachment (extra bucks) that says 2.99. That means you have 2.99 free money for the next transaction. Then you go to the register and do transaction #2 Buy a 2nd pair of scissors for 2.99. Then use the receipt (extra bucks) that you earned in the first transaction and not pay a penny for the 2nd transaction. Transaction #2 will then spit out another receipt extra bucks for 2.99 that you can use for the 3rd transaction. That's how you 'roll' the extra bucks. Does that makes sense? Read the earlier post to see how I spent less than $5 and got a ton of stuff! Still have questions? I love to help you find the deals, so feel free to drop me an email or...

CVS stacks coupons!

What does that mean? and why is it good? Stacking coupons means you can use more than 1 coupon for a single purchase. Here's what I mean..... If you have a coupon from CVS (I found one for $4 off any $20 purchase online last week, my husband found $2 off any $10 purchase in a magazine 2 weeks ago), you can use those in addition to the coupons that print off on your receipt sometimes ($3 off any $15 purchase) I made a purchase that at first came to $26. I used the $4 coupon from the internet + the $3 off any $15 purchase + 4 coupons for $2 each total $11.00 Then I used my $5 Extra bucks from last week and $6 from a CVS card I got 3 weeks ago when I had to get a new prescription filled. (see below) Total out of pocket - $0 How can you get a free gift card from CVS (or Kroger, Walgreens etc)? Periodically there are coupons for new or transferred prescriptions to a different pharmacy. Some people call it pharmacy hopping. For common meds, it is a great way to make money. Read h...
