How do you get Wii games cheap?

Good question! If you have a Wii, you know that games are crazy expensive! We have a Wii and we refuse to pay full price for games. Here's some options that we have tried. (Warning: Some of thes options take time, but we really are trying to teach our kids that the things they want sometimes take time to earn.) I know this is a long post so feel free to skim read :-) 1. Gamefly This is a program almost identical to netflix. You sign up for a membership and choose your level. The cheapest level gives you one game at a time. You play it for as long as you like (no late fees) then mail it back in their prepaid envelope. A few days later, you get the next game in the mail. You choose the games you want to try and put them in a queue. They send you whatever is next on your list. You get a free 10 day trial. The cheapest level is $8.95 for the first month for 1 game at a time. Then after that it goes to $15.95 per month for however long you keep the membership. There is no contract and ...

2 Wii games for under $5

OK.... so you want to know how I just got 2 new Wii games for our family for less than $5.oo total? Easy! I swapped them . I am mailing a game I don't want and someone is sending me something I do want. If you have DVDs, books, CD's, or games you don't want, you can post them at swaptree . Then you make a quick list of everything you would possibly want. Then Swaptree does the work. As soon as they find a match, you get an email asking if you will accept the trade. *One complaint I have heard about swaptree is that you might be asked to swap your high value Wii game for a book or cd. We found a way to fix that. My husband has a swaptree account where we only list wii games and I have a regular 'other' stuff account. He lists the games that we no longer want and puts on his want list the Wii games we do want. That way, it is a fair swap. We have tried out quite a few games this way! Need more info about swaptree? I just swapped an old gamecube game for a Wii game!

I hate having stuff sitting around the house that I no longer need or want. What do I do with extra DVDs, CDs, Books, Game system games? I post them on Swaptree. You post the titles of what you have, make a quick list of what you want and Swaptree does the rest. ( Important hint about swaptree: the more you put on your lists - the quicker you will get a match. I try to add tons of things on my want list even if I only have a few things on my have list. That way the odds of swaptree finding you a match go up much higher! Several of you have joined swaptree but you need to add more things to your list so you will get a swap faster!) Last night I posted a Star Wars Lego Gamecube game that we no longer needed on swaptree. Today I received an email saying I will receive Super Paper Mario Wii game in exchange. All I have to do is mail the gamecube game (media mail rate only costs about $2.00) and I will go to my mailbox in about a week and get my new Wii game. Need more information?...
