Some people have found that Kroger has the sausage gravy on sale this week for $1 so when you use your coupon it makes it "FREE". ***I haven't been back to Kroger yet to get this but I can't wait to try it out.

I always buy toilet paper by figuring how much each roll cost. My goal is .11 per roll! Here's how you can get that too! Every 2 weeks, you can call Georgia Pacific to request 4 Angel Soft Toilet paper coupons. The first time you will need to give your name and information. After that, they will just confirm the info. The rep has always been extremely nice. The 4 coupons are for .55 off any Angel Soft TP. I will watch and wait till Krogers puts them on sale for 1.00. This is about once a month. Walmart usually sells the 4 pack for $1.28 so it is still only .18 a roll if they're not on sale. You can call every 2 weeks. 1-800-283-5547

I am convinced that nobody should ever pay more than $1.00 for toothpaste. I personally never spend more than .25 because I have a stash built up and can afford to wait for a really good deal. However, if you are just starting you may have to spend up to $1.00 to get your supply built. So I'm going to start a watch of where the toothpaste is on sale for the week. I promise - never spend more than $1.00 on toothpaste. Hopefully - way less! This week: Kroger has Colgate Total toothpaste on sale for $1.67 Use 1.00 coupon from last weeks newspaper if you have it. Just a reminder: Kroger generally has a price guarantee policy. If your item scans at the wrong price, you could get the item free. Just point out the wrong price to the cashier and have them check the price on the shelf. If it is wrong, they will usually just give you the item for free. (not always but usually).

If you plan to buy Huggies diapers, make sure you add the 1.50 coupon from shortcuts.com (you register you Kroger card number when you login) to your Kroger card. Here's a link to the coupons you can print from Krogers website. My favorite coupon is the $3.00 coupon for Kroger Comfort Diapers. (I thought it had reset so I could print again but my computer can't print it again.) If you need diapers, you can use this coupon to really get a good deal on diapers. Size 5 diapers are only .10 per diaper (smaller sizes get even better!)

Go here to print .50 coupon for Franks Hot sauce and Franks Mustard. Since these coupons double at Kroger, I can usually get hot sauce for about .18 cents!

If you are new to Krogers, here's the 'rules' as I have learned them... (This list is specifically for Danville KY Krogers). If you know of any other 'rules' about our local Kroger that I have missed, please let me know. Krogers always doubles coupon up to and including .50 . That means that a .35 coupon will save you .70. A .50 coupon saves you $1.00. You may only use ONE manufacturer coupon per item. (e-coupons are completely separate and often get stacked automatically as a bonus but you can't make this happen. I never ask about the use of the e-coupons because the cashiers don't know anything about them.) E-coupons (cellfire, shortcuts, etc) are bonus coupons . I always load them on my card and they almost always work. But I never count on them. They are bonus coupons that come off at the register at the end automatically. The cashier has NOTHING to do with whether these coupons work. They are savings that you get in addition to your paper coupons. ...

Today I'm looking for info from you! My Krogers in Danville doubles all coupons that are .50 or lower every day. So if I use a .50 coupon anytime - it will give me $1.00 savings! I've heard that IGA in Liberty doubles coupons every Tuesday up to .50. But I never have shopped there. I've heard that all Publix grocerys double coupons too. Does anyone know this from experience? Update: I am hearing that Florida stores do NOT double or offer the same great coupon deals that other Publix stores offer around the country . Update: I am hearing that BILO stores also double coupons. What stores double coupons for you? I'd love to hear where your favorite double coupon stores are!
